Album leaks; artist excited?

Generally when an album leaks to the net, artists do the typical record label damning of piracy and the like; but legendary rapper Nas has come out with the opposite after all the tracks of his upcoming untitled album have leaked to the net.
He said in an interview that it was (pardon his french) "f***ing exciting" that the album had been leaked and that fans could get their hands on it.
Odd world, eh?
