Beckerman Unleashes Pouwelse
Attorney Ray Beckerman is bringing out a big gun in RIAA copyright infringement case UMG v. Lindor. Beckerman announced the appointment of expert Prof. Johan Pouwelse, Assistant Professor in the Parallel and Distributed Systems Group at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.

Professor Pouwelse will take on RIAA's expert, Dr. Doug jacobsonlinks, who already has been testified. Pouwelse analyzed RIAA partner MediaSentry's data in Foundation v. UPC Nederland in the Netherlands. His testimony led to that court rejecting the music industry's request that ISPs disclose subscriber information.
