EMI lose overall, yet win digitally...

With the current economic climate spelling doom and gloom for everyone around the world, it is no suprise to see EMI suffering huge losses this year, over £750million (1.2~billion USD). Physical sales were down 28% over the year...yet digital sales, and revenue from them, was up a suprising 19%. It's good to see that digital music is still performing money wise even with the worldwide "credit crunch".

EMI have stated that they are going to be making everything more efficient and slightly downsizing so that such losses do not occur again.
