Flycast gets funded

Posted in Innovation on July 24th, 2009

In the past few years a small Startup company getting a big 2million cash investment wasn't always a major thing; investors had money to chuck away and would eventually earn it back when something hit big, but nowerdays it's getting harder to comeby, and as such I was suprised to hear that FlyCast, a mobile streaming radio application, had secured that $2million in funding.

FlyCast is an app available for iPhones, Android phones, Blackberries as well as your desktop computer, which allows you to listen to hundreds of streaming channels; from talk radio to 70s folk tunes. One wonders exactly how they make money though, their website does not make that clear!
