Foo Fighters to stream on... Facebook?

An interesting partnership but one that appears to be genuine; this thursday Foo Fighters are set to stream a live concert on Facebook for free. Obviously Facebook themselves are not powering the backend streaming; that is left to LiveStream. It's stil fairly suprising as I personally never imagined Facebook to be interested in this sorta thing, it was always a more "myspace" idea. I suppose that has changed slightly as Facebook has become the truely dominant social networking site, and perhaps we'll see more of this from now on?
