God Votes "Let My Files Go"
Emblematic of the struggle in Sweden over file sharing, high profile file sharer Ivar Wenster said that the evidence against him was destroyed when lightning struck his computer.

Wenster is head of culture of the Karlskrona (Sweden) municipalitylinks. He has decried the hypocrisy that surrounds P2P and prevents the entertainment industry from changing its strict and unchanging position. He openly admitted file sharing and encouraged others to come out of the closet as well. Wenster reported himself when file sharing became illegal in Sweden in July 2005. Convicted offenders can get up to two years in jail under the country's copyright laws.

Sweden has been covered previously in Friends don't let friends visit Stockholm and P2Pers win in Sweden.
