INTENT MediaWorks Gets Violated

P2P and Internet distributor INTENT MediaWorks has signed a deal with Violator Management & Records for ad-based and secured distribution of music and video content over P2P and the Internet.

Violator CEO Chris Lighty also joins INTENT's Board of Advisors. He represents top names in rap including 50 Cent, Diddy, Missy Elliott, Busta Rhymes, LL Cool J, and Three 6 Mafia. Violator artists have sold over 70 million albums. Three 6 Mafia became the first hip-hop group to win an Academy Award when it captured the 2006 Oscar for Best Song with "It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp."
