iPhone apps to help you enjoy music also in your above ground pool

So, we all know the iPhone is the dominant smartphone with all it's applications these days, and with it being an iPod touch underneath, it is certainly a fantastic digital music device, so I thought I'd let you know what you could use in order to make the most of it.

One of the best things about the iPhone is that it can be used anywhere, whether you are at home, at a friends above ground pool party, or even just on the move with your earphones plugged in. It's better than the touch in this regard as it's data services allow you to access streaming music while away from hotspots, too.

So, the applications you must have are:

Shazam – Ever hear a tune on the radio or at a club and you just wish you knew what it was? Use Shazam, it listens to a sample of the music and identifies the song from that.

Last.FM – A personalized streaming radio for you, based upon your music tastes; no longer will you have to suffer the pitfalls of standard commercial radio.

Spotify – Okay, you need a premium account, but this is the daddy, whack it on at a friends party and you have access to a huge array of music tracks with no adverts, for free!
