It's a wonderful, wonderful file sharing world

48 million Americans, over one-third of users, now publish and share media on the Internet, according to the "Home Broadband Adoption 2006" report from the Pew Internet & American Life Project. The increase in user-generated content is being driven by home broadband adoption.

These file sharers are no longer the young kids but include all ages and demographics, similar to the makeup of people using the web and Internet services. P2P and file Sharing are increasingly being used for legitimate services and user-generated content, including video, music, and photos.
