iTunes charts hit radio stations

Filed in archive Music by Jordan Grodecki on August 17, 2008

Although it's been happening for a long time in the UK, it seems like it isn't such a big thing in the US to count digital downloads in the charts; some seem to do it, some don't, it's all a bit haphazard. So now there is set to be a new show syndicated accross the US by clear channellinks, which is solely made up of the most downloaded tracks from iTunes. It's an interesting concept, one that will probably end up making some rather different songs get radio play, and hopefully encourage more people to buy online.
