iTunes Pass excites and then disapoints…

Posted in Apple on February 25th, 2009

So I got up, read up on some music biz news and saw that Apple would be offering an iTunes pass. Could it be? Could they finally have realized that paying per song for low quality is a complete rip off? I was in a good mood.

Then I read the story. It's not a subscription. It's not a way to get tracks cheaper. Simply, it allows you to pay for content that is given to you over a set time period; usually an album, some videos, and a single or two for a band.

Completely pointless, why can't you get a subscription system going, Apple?!
