Alain levy (pictured) proclaimed the CD was dead at the London Business School. John Paczkowski retorts "So by "value-added material," you mean the jewel case?".

My take: right idea, wrong time. While I applaud Levy for sticking his head out of the sand, his inspiration is 10 years late. It's not bold strategy. It's reluctant sloth. A resigned acceptance of digital inevitability. It's not even original. The movie business has been stuffing DVDs with extras for many years.
