Last.FM and Warner fall out a bit

Last.FM, the fantastic social music site, has had a little bit of a falling out with a major lable, in this case Warner. A few months after launching it's full track streaming capability, Warner has decided that it isn't making enough money from the per play, ad based setup, and has withdrawn the right to let Last.FM users play it's tracks.

This is seriously unfortunate as it's very nice to be able to go and sample songs from different artists on the site, and when a big label pulls out a lot of bands disapear.

In all likelyhood however, within a few weeks a new deal will be negociated and the tracks will be back.
