Limewire LLC, a company known for their free and pro versions of the Limewire gnutella client, arn't exactly the kind of people you'd expect to be heading toward a legal music distribution. Being one of the few p2p makers who have stood up against the big authorities, it is now odd to see their legal music distribution system slowly gaining support, although not yet from the major labels, who are still Entangled in a lawsuit with the company. The Orchard has agreed a deal bringing over 1 million songs to the paid platform, in high quality, DRM free MP3.
More paid p2p choice for the customer the better, we say.
