Live Nation 2.0
Filed in archive Companies , Technology on August 31, 2007
Live Nation has toys. The world's largest concert promoter last year unveiled a comprehensive web database. This year it's hopped on the Web 2.0 bandwagon to ensure its place as the premier online concert destination.
Live Nation offers a search toolbar to make it easy to find concerts. Users of the Google search engine can install a Gadget Gadget.
An array of widgets can be downloaded and installed on web pages and blogs that only display upcoming concerts, but also link to ticket purchasing. It's a cool way to promote your local concert venue or favorite band.

The Google toolbar is to a certain extent much easier to use, but they don't have all those widgets to download. And promoting a local band or tickets is quite a good thing if you ask me
