MOG funded & music networking sites

MySpace popularized music as a key part of consumer social networks.
MOG, an online music startup founded by ex-gracenote CEO David Hyman, received $1.4 million in funding. MOG will provide a music community and recommendation services in an increasingly crowded field. It is expected to release a public beta this summer.
