PASSALONG NETWORKS SCORES $10 MILLION FOR ONLINE MUSIC STORES
Nashville-based PassAlong Networks provides a full ecommerce solution for online music stores. The PassAlong Networks catalog includes two million independent tracks in MP3 format and secured WMA files for major label music. The money brings the total investment in the company to $35 million. Customers include f.y.e. from the brick and mortar chain of Trans World Entertainment.
YEBOTV RAISES $10 MILLION FOR DIGITAL MEDIA DISTRIBUTION
Cleveland-based Yebotv has a web-based video sharing site. The company gained $10 million from Roberts Communications Network and Sunrise Operations. Roberts is a broadcasting technology company. Sunrise Operations is the investment arm for Winticket.com, an online horse betting site. Yebotv plans to grow its technology to include live concert streaming, and multi-channel distribution through television, internet and mobile.
