ROYALTYSHARE ADDS MUSICALC

San Diego-based digital media trackerlinks RoyaltyShare acquired UK-based Musicalc. Musicalc provides royalty accounting services and software and enables RoyaltyShare to expand into Europe and the publishing market. The acquisition price was not announced.

MOBILE CARRIER HELIO RAISES $200M MORE

Helio, a joint venture between Earthlink and SK Telecom, will be receiving more money from the parents. The companies have committed to extend up to $200 million more. Helio is a MVNO, a mobile virtual network operator, that runs primarily on Sprint Wireless. Amp'd Mobile, another leading MVNO, recently closed its business.
