MP3 Player sales up 200% in 2005

MP3 player sales increased 200% in 2005 to $3 billion. Overall US consumer electronics sales are expected to total $135.4 billion in 2006, including $4.5 billlion for digital music players. The industry increase is 8% over 2005. 30% of all MP3 players sold in 2006 are expected to have video playback.
