Pirate Bay ISPs ISP ordered offline..
Posted in Analysis on August 27th, 2009
It has recently come to light that the industry representitives involved in preventing copyright infringement have been working very hard at taking The Pirate Bay offline at the highest possible level, the provider of it's provider's internet service. Yes, they leapfrogged the site itself, as well as the people that host them, and went right for the top. After thousands of man hours preparing a court case, millions of pounds spent getting everything agreed, the company pulled the site's plug.
It resulted in a measily 3 hours of downtime. All that work, for 3 hours? In an economy like this, HOW can they justify this?
