Pirate Bay legalization is go

Filed in archive Community on August 28, 2009

Amazingly, even after many investors pulled out, an investigation by the sweedish authorities, and various other setbacks, Global Gaming Factory have raised the money they needed in order to buy out torrent site The Pirate Bay. $7.8 million is the price set to be paid, and one wonders quite how they convinced any investors to give out money, as it's strongly assumed that as soon as TPB is legalized, the normal users will flock away onto one of the many other sites which do exactly the same job.
