RIAA Goes After Another Dead Person … And His Children
Posted in Legal, RIAA, IFPI on August 14th, 2006

In Warner Bros. v. Scantlebury, Larry Scantlebury recently passed away. But that hasn't stopped the lawsuit. The plaintiff has generously moved to put the case on hold for 60 days to allow the family time to grieve. Then the case is back in action. The plaintiffs want to take depositions of the late Mr. Scantlebury's children.
