RIAA Case Against 14-Year-Old Brittany Chan Dismissed. The lawsuits against Brittany Chan and her family are over ... for now. It was a ugly episde we've covered before and which Recording Industry vs The People has detailed. It has exhibited the ugliest side of RIAA's Harassment - going after a minor, deposing an entire family, non-responsive attorneys, and in the end wasting everybody's time and money.
