RIAA: The Truth Hurts
In a move that smacks of desperation, RIAA has attacked the opposing counsel in Lava v. Amurao. RIAA opposed an Electronic Frontier Foundation motion to file an amicuslinks brief based on its objection to attorney Ray Beckerman.

Beckerman, who filed the EFF motion, publishes the blog "Recording Industry vs. The People." RIAA objected that Beckerman is not impartial as he accused RIAA of being "a cartel of multinational corporations [that] collude to abuse our judicial system, distort copyright law, and frighten ordinary working people and their children".

And RIAA is an impartial party???

The organization seems to forget that the American legal system is based not on impartiality but by vigorous advocacy. RIAA's response indeed pays Beckerman the highest possible compliment.
