RIAA to no longer sue individuals.

Posted in RIAA, IFPI on January 4th, 2009

In a fairly unsuprising (due to their lack of success) move, RIAA has announced that it will no longer be prosecuting idividuals who supposedly infringe on their copyright by sharing digital music. It will instead be persuing ISP wide filtering agreements, which to be fair, are really rather unlikely!

In other news, thousands of music pirates around the world rejoyced, and continued to illegally download music. (ha)
