After posting about the initial announcement of SanDisks MicroSD based music distribution idea. We have learnt that the initial run will be of 30 albums from popular artists such as Usher and Rhianna, and will be in glorious 320kbps mp3. Even better, the excess space on the cards will be taken up with the things digital music normally lacks; liner notes, lyrics, album art…everything.
I'm not sure if it will actually succeed, but I really, really hope it does.
