SonyBMG Rootkit: Canadian Injustice
Sony BMG has settled with Canadian customers regarding its rootkitlinks DRM damages. The settlement is similar to that in the U.S. but provides no commitment that it won't happen again. So if you live up North, you just have to trust the company that you coudn't trust in the first place. The EFF provides the lowdown on Sony steamrolling in Canada.
