Staying a music geek in the digital age

These days, with all music being digital, a lot of us don't have piles of CDs or stacks of vinyls to cover our shelves and fill up our cupboards. Instead, all of it is stored on a little grey, black, or silver box with all the pretty artwork hidden behind the glass screen and electronics, which certainly doesn't show off to your friends or family that you are a dedicated music fan.

So, how can you rectify this? Personally, I like ideas such as bundling a vinyl with a download code for FLAC music files is the perfect solution; you get your music in a high quality digital format, and a high quality analogue format, with an awesome physical product you can stick on your shelf to impress your friends. Beck for example took this idea for his most recent album, the stunning Modern Guilt, and I most definitely paid for it!

Of course, adorning your walls with posters of your bands and their album covers is another option, as is wearing T-Shirts plastered with thier name. So if you are worrying about your friends not getting the right musical impression of you, check out the various keepsakes you can grab at offers.com
