Touring For Victory
The music business is changing. Digital downloads have empowered consumers who have turned their back on CDs and albums. Industry sales have stagnated. Successful record labels will have to diversify.

That's exactly what's happening at independent label Victory Records, which launched a concert booking division. The business will create concert tourslinks for artists without managers and will work with established artists to pump up concert revenues.

Victory CEO Tony Brummel said "All of the best selling artists in our history started off by playing the smallest of clubs, VFW halls, people's basements, coffee houses, etc. Touring and performing at that level is the catalyst of artist development."
