Unlimited Music On The Go
Omnifone, a British mobile music company, has launched MusicStation, an unlimited music subscription service with secured songs from both major labels and independents. MusicStation will work with most cell phones and cell networks, and will compete with Apple's iPhone and iTunes store.

Omnifone has signed deals with 23 mobile network operators, who have 690 million subscribers. in 40 countries. MusicStation will first roll out in Scandinavialinks with Telenor and South Africa with Vodafone partner network Vodacom.

The service isn't cheap. You can always tell when the pricing is weekly. MusicStation for cell phones is 1.99 pounds or about $3.91 per week, or $16.81 per month. The premium version, which also enables music storage and playing on a PC, is 2.99 pounds or $5.87 per week, or $25.24 per month.
