What is your favorite PC music player?
Posted in Technology on May 29th, 2007

We covered the top PC music software earlier. The top six in order are Windows Media Player (WMP), realplayer, iTunes, RecordNow, MusicMatch, and Winamp.
I put most of thousands of songs in folders by decade and genre. I have a decent digital speaker system with subwoofer and just need something simple that will read in folders and play random tunes, not something heavy like WMP. I continue to use WinAmp.
Peter Butler at download.com did a recent review of shareware with features such as plugins and sound customization for your room or headphones. He liked MediaMonkey, MXPlay, and Quintessential Player. What about you?
