Why Not iTunes?

Filed in archive Apple by Dameon Welch-Abemathy on May 19, 2008

To be honest, I don't know what people have against iTunes. I'm not talking about the iTunes Store-that's a whole separate issue.

The only reason I started using it is because it came on my Mac. It seemed easy enough. I fed it CDs, it ripped them at good quality, and other than mess with Smart Playlists and occasionally adjusting album art, I don't mess with it much. I've synced stuff to my iPod Nano, though I generally use my Nokia devices with Nokia Multimedia Transfer.

So tell me, iTunes haters, why? What about iTunes makes it bad for managing music? Leave some feedback in the comments.
