Yahoo transitions to Rhapsody

yahoo musiclinks Unlimited is shutting down; probably due to too much competiton, and the fact that DRM services other than iTunes are really just not working too well anymore.

There was much questioning about what will happen when the service shuts down, and there is no longer a licence server for all the drmed files, with Yahoo starting by reccomending that users burn all files to cds and then rip them again...but this isn't really a good thing is it?

So they changed their mind, and are now, in a very good gesture, offering users free drm free replacements of all songs they have bought.
